How we work together.
Last updated 27 August 2026
These terms apply to every project unless a signed agreement says otherwise. Where a signed agreement and this page disagree, the signed agreement wins.
The short version. You get a written quote before anything starts. The price does not move unless the work does. Advance up front, balance on delivery. Once the balance is paid, the code is yours.
Quotes and pricing
- Every project starts with a written quote listing scope, price and timeline. Nothing begins before you approve it.
- The quoted price is fixed. It changes only if you ask for work outside the agreed scope, and then only with a new written quote you approve first.
- The calculator on the home page gives an estimate, not a binding offer. The written quote is the offer.
- Prices are in Indian Rupees. Any applicable GST is charged on top and shown separately.
Payment
| Stage | When |
|---|---|
| Standard project advance: 30% after written scope approval | Before work begins |
| Balance | On delivery, before the final handover |
| Care plans and retainers | Monthly, in advance |
We accept UPI, bank transfer and cash. A receipt is issued for every payment. If an invoice is more than fifteen days late we may pause work until it is settled, and we will tell you before we do.
Timelines
The timeline in your quote starts from the day the advance clears and we have the content and access we asked for — text, images, logins, domain details. Waiting on those is the most common reason a project slips, so sending them early is the single best thing you can do for your own deadline. If we are the reason for a delay we will say so and, where it is our fault, we will not charge for the extra time.
Revisions
- Two rounds of revision are included at the design stage and two after the build.
- A revision means refining what was agreed. Replacing the concept, changing direction or adding features is new work and needs a new quote.
- Further rounds are charged at our hourly rate, quoted before we start them.
Who owns what
- Once the final payment clears, you own the code, the design and the content we produced for you, outright.
- Until then it remains ours, and a site may be shown on a staging address rather than your live domain.
- We keep the right to reuse our own generic components, libraries and techniques on other projects. We never reuse your branding, your content or anything specific to your business.
- Third-party licences — fonts, stock images, paid plugins — stay with their owners and are listed in your handover.
- We would like to show finished work in our portfolio. Tell us if you would rather we did not, and we will not.
Security work: read this part
A security audit is a snapshot, not a guarantee. It reports what could be found on the day it was run, against the systems you authorised. New weaknesses appear constantly, and no honest security firm anywhere will promise you cannot be breached. Anyone who does is selling you something.
- We test only what you own or are authorised in writing to have tested. Testing anything else is a criminal offence under the Information Technology Act, 2000, for you and for us.
- You must give written authorisation before any testing begins. No authorisation, no test.
- Findings are confidential and shared only with the people you name.
- Fixing what we find is separate work unless the quote includes it.
- Take a full backup before we start. We ask before touching a live system, but backups are your responsibility.
Training and courses
- Fees are payable monthly or annually in advance, as stated on the course.
- Fees are not refundable once a batch has started, but a missed class can be made up within the same month.
- A certificate is issued on completing the course and its assessment.
- We teach security so that you can defend systems. Using what you learn to attack somebody else's system is a crime, and it ends your place on the course immediately.
What we support after delivery
Support coverage, response expectations, remediation periods and any charges are defined in the signed project proposal or Statement of Work. No fixed free-support period is promised for every project. Ongoing care and maintenance may be quoted separately.
Cancellation
- Cancel before work starts and the advance is refunded in full, less any transaction charge.
- Cancel after work starts and we bill for what is finished; the rest of the advance comes back.
- We may end a project if the work turns out to be illegal, if payment stops, or if the relationship becomes abusive. In that case you are billed for completed work only.
Limits of liability
We do our work carefully and stand behind it. That said, our total liability for any project is limited to what you paid us for that project. We are not liable for indirect losses — lost profit, lost data, lost business — arising from the use of what we delivered. Nothing here limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot be limited under Indian law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts in Hoshiarpur, Punjab have jurisdiction. Before anyone goes near a court, both sides agree to sit down and try to settle it — that has worked every time so far.
